Super Crema is Lavazza's medium-roast Arabica and Robusta espresso blend from Asia and South America, sold in the familiar 2.2 lb bag. Lavazza describes it as full-bodied with notes of roasted hazelnut and brown sugar, and the Robusta helps it produce plenty of crema. It is the default first bean for many new home espresso owners; specialty drinkers criticise its bitterness and the age of bags bought online.
