The Amazon budget hit: a Dedica-style pump machine with a pressure gauge and real steam wand for about $120; build quality is the trade-off.
A compact semi-automatic espresso machine with a 20-bar pump, PID temperature control and low-pressure pre-infusion (per CASABREWS), a 51 mm portafilter with dual-wall (pressurized) baskets, a pressure gauge and a manual steam wand. Reviewers compare it to the De'Longhi Dedica at a lower price: it makes good espresso and milk foam for the money, but Tom's Coffee Corner found lower build quality and ungrounded metal parts, and the brew temperature isn't adjustable.

How it scored
Gear score out of 10, weighted across five factors.
Reviewers got good espresso with fresh medium-dark beans and decent milk foam, but the steam wand is slow and the fixed brew temperature limits lighter roasts.
Tom's Coffee Corner found below-average internals and an ungrounded lid and casing, and Coffee Kev says De'Longhi keeps the reliability edge; 1-year warranty.
Four simple buttons, a 1-minute heat-up and a pressure gauge, but a narrow water tank, no 3-way solenoid and an overheat lockout after steaming.
At $118.99–$144.49 on CASABREWS' store it undercuts the Dedica while adding a gauge and a proper steam wand.
A huge Amazon seller with fair but cautious creator reviews from Coffee Kev, Tom's Coffee Corner and Cafelista.

What people are saying

“Ok, I cannot fault the machine for not working. It works, and it actually works well. It’s able to make pressurized and non-pressurized espresso extractions, and it can make good milk foam. And all that for just $140.”
“Honestly, the Casabrews offers a lower build quality than the Dedica, which is obvious when opened up. One will also notice that neither the lid nor metal casing are grounded on the Casabrews, which is a potential safety issue in my mind.”
“If you want a small, simple, Dedica-like machine for espresso + milk drinks with minimal fuss, the CM5418 makes sense. Just remember: De’Longhi still has the reliability edge.”
“Maybe I just got lucky, but the Casabrews espresso machine did a great job right off the bat.”

FAQ
Reviewers call it Dedica-inspired: Tom's Coffee Corner describes it as an homage at a much lower price that adds a pressure gauge, but with lower build quality.
51 mm. CASABREWS recommends accessories marked compatible with 51 mm machines.
It has overheat protection. Coffeeness found that opening the steam wand for a few seconds lets the machine cool enough to brew espresso again.
