Atmos is Fellow's vacuum storage canister: twisting the lid of the manual version (or pressing a button on the electric lid) pumps air out to slow oxidation, and an indicator shows when the vacuum is locked. It comes in 0.4, 0.7 and 1.2 L sizes in stainless steel or glass, from $29.95 for the manual 0.4 L to $79.95 for the electric 1.2 L. Fellow says to store only whole beans (grounds can clog the valve) and to hand-wash it.

How it scored
Gear score out of 10, weighted across five factors.
Holds a vacuum that owners say keeps beans tasting fresh a few days longer, though Fellow advises re-twisting every 4–5 days to keep the seal.
18/8 stainless steel or glass bodies with a seal indicator; the integrated pump means no dishwasher.
A few twists or a button press seals it and a button releases it, but it is whole-bean only.
$29.95–$39.95 for the manual versions is reasonable; the electric version doubles the price for convenience.
A widely owned canister that RandoTechNerd notes James Hoffmann crowned the king of vacuum canisters, with positive owner comments.

“Fwiw, I keep my beans in Fellow Atmos (vacuum) canisters. Picked up a 3 pack on sale at Costco, and I’ve been presently surprised by beans keeping a few days longer.”
“I use Fellow Atmos containers for my beans (I'm sure there are other options too). They allow you to pump out the air by twisting the lid back and forth. I live by myself and only drink 2-3 cups of coffee a week, so it's been useful since a standard 12 oz bag lasts over a month for me.”

FAQ
Fellow recommends whole beans only; ground coffee or other fine powders may clog the intake valve, prevent a proper seal and may void the warranty.
Fellow says the 0.4 L holds up to 6 oz of beans, the 0.7 L up to 11 oz and the 1.2 L up to 16 oz of light or medium roast (a full pound of dark roast won't fit).
No. The integrated vacuum pump means the canister and lid must be hand-washed.
Both create the same vacuum; the electric lid seals at the push of a button and recharges, and Fellow says it fits every manual canister size.
