Wellness-brand Uji matcha with strong testing claims and press awards, but matcha reviewers find it bitter for the price.
Golde's Pure Matcha is a stone-milled Uji matcha from a family-run producer, sold in a 30 g tin for $39 and pitched as a daily latte base with about 60 mg of caffeine per serving. Golde says it is organically grown and certified radiation-free and heavy-metal-free, and Fortune named it the best-tasting matcha powder in its 2026 roundup. Independent matcha creators were less impressed, describing a bitter aftertaste and saying they would not repurchase.

Fortune ranked it best-tasting, but two independent matcha creators found a bitter aftertaste and would not rebuy.
Stone-milled Uji matcha in a tin, though one reviewer found the 100 g pouch clumpy.
$39 for 30 g is about $2.60 per 2 g, or $3.90 per Golde-sized 3 g latte, high for the flavor reviewers describe.
Uji origin and a family-run producer are named and it is certified radiation- and heavy-metal-free, but cultivar, harvest and test reports aren't shown.
Popular as a wellness brand with mainstream press, while matcha-focused reviewers are lukewarm.
