A $45 six-piece traditional matcha kit: stoneware chawan, bamboo chasen, whisk holder, chashaku, sifter and guide; matcha not included.
Jade Leaf's Complete Matcha Ceremony Set bundles the traditional tools for whisked matcha: a stoneware tea bowl (chawan), a bamboo whisk (chasen), a stoneware whisk holder, a bamboo scoop (chashaku), a stainless steel sifter and a step-by-step guide. It costs $44.99 and is aimed at beginners and gift buyers. Jade Leaf says the bowl holds 18 oz, but does not state where the tools are made, and independent written reviews are scarce.

How it scored
Gear score out of 10, weighted across five factors.
A standard bamboo chasen, sifter and wide bowl cover traditional whisking; Jade Leaf does not publish the whisk's prong count.
Stoneware bowl and holder with bamboo tools; Jade Leaf says it does not know the origin of the pieces.
Everything except matcha and hot water comes in one box with a guide, plus a holder for storing the chasen.
$44.99 for bowl, whisk, holder, scoop and sifter is reasonable next to buying the pieces separately.
Coverage is limited to a few creator unboxings; we found no independent written reviews we could verify.
