A low-acid, organic single-origin Nicaraguan medium roast, roasted to order and third-party tested for toxins, at a premium price.
Grata Medium Roast (sold for years simply as Lifeboost Medium Roast) is the flagship of Lifeboost, a direct-to-consumer brand marketing 'healthy', stomach-friendly coffee. Lifeboost says the beans are single-origin, shade-grown Nicaraguan arabica that is hand-picked, spring-water washed, sun-dried, USDA organic and third-party tested for mycotoxins, heavy metals and pesticides, and roasted when ordered. Fans with acid sensitivity swear by it; coffee hobbyists question the price and the health-focused marketing.

Watch-outs
How it scored
Cup score out of 10, weighted across five factors.
A smooth, low-acid medium roast that reviewers like GenXJohnny found bright and chocolatey, while some r/Coffee users say it tastes thin for the money.
Roasted to order, packed in one-way-valve bags, USDA organic and third-party tested for mycotoxins, heavy metals and pesticides, according to Lifeboost.
About $1.28 per 15 g cup even at the discounted $28.99 per 12 oz, among the most expensive coffees in this category.
Single-farm Nicaraguan origin with organic certification and published testing claims, but no farm name, prices paid or test reports on the product page.
Strong word of mouth in acid-reflux and health communities, balanced by r/Coffee skepticism about hype and marketing.

What people are saying
Verbatim from Reddit, forums and long-term owner write-ups — linked so you can read the full thread.
“I switched to a low acid coffee, I purchased Lifeboost from Amazon and chose medium roast. I’ve found if I pre-make coffee and let it sit in the fridge (iced coffee) it doesn’t bother me as bad.”
“My stepmom is also very sensitive to acidic flavors and she drinks Lifeboost coffee. It's pricey ($24.60 for a 12oz. bag of beans), but she loves coffee and this is the only way she can drink it. It's pretty good.”
“Also might suggest Lifeboost Medium blend. Buy either t on Amazon or their website.”
“I’ve been drinking Lifeboost. I honestly don’t know what the hype is about…it tastes like water. It’s supposedly less acidity, no mold, etc. (a marketing scam…?)”
