An app-connected, SCA-certified brewer that controls temperature, bloom and pulses for pour-over-style coffee from one cup to ten.
The Aiden is Fellow's first drip machine. It controls water temperature to the degree, runs a bloom followed by measured pulses, and adjusts a dual showerhead for single cups or a full 1.5 L carafe. It is SCA certified, has a built-in 90-minute cold brew profile, and offers app scheduling and custom Brew Profiles. Enthusiast reviewers rave about the cup quality but criticize the interface, the plastic-heavy build and a thermal carafe that loses heat quickly.

How it scored
Gear score out of 10, weighted across five factors.
SCA certified with per-phase temperature, bloom and pulse control. Lance Hedrick calls it a truly fantastic machine, ARAMSE calls the cup results 'pretty unbelievable', and TechRadar found them consistently excellent.
The body is mostly BPA-free plastic with a 2-year warranty, and TechRadar found the double-wall carafe loses heat quickly, though it says the machine itself feels robust.
Guided profiles, a removable tank and app scheduling make daily use easy, but James Hoffmann devotes a long section to frustrations, ARAMSE flags interface flaws, and a blind HN user calls the interface inaccessible.
At $399.95 it costs more than a Moccamaster but adds single-cup brewing, cold brew and full recipe control that rivals lack.
It is heavily covered by coffee YouTubers, and James Hoffmann's review alone has more than 1.3 million views. Lance Hedrick counts it among his favorite gear, but even fans list real annoyances.

“It's easy to use and results are consistently excellent, but it's let down by a carafe that loses heat rapidly. It's very good, but it could have been great.”
“I can’t fully express how excited I am about this Fellow Aiden review. That’s because this new pour-over drip coffee maker is a pretty revolutionary piece of kit.”
“I'd like to get a Fellow Aiden coffee maker but the interface is completely inaccessible. It's unclear to me if there app will ever allow you to fully control the machine.”

FAQ
Yes. It brews anything from a single cup to a full 1.5 L carafe using two baskets, a cone for small brews and a flat-bottom basket for batches, and its dual showerhead adjusts coverage to match. Fellow includes 15 of each filter type and says Melitta #2 cone and 8–12 cup basket filters also fit.
Yes. Aiden includes a cold brew Brew Profile that uses a hot bloom and slow drip and is ready in about 90 minutes instead of steeping overnight. Fellow says you can customize the profile to make concentrates or syrups.
No. You can brew from the dial and color LCD on the machine. Fellow's iOS and Android app adds brew scheduling, Brew Profile management, notifications and firmware updates.
There is no hotplate. Coffee goes into a double-wall thermal carafe, which TechRadar found loses heat fairly quickly, so it suggests pre-heating the carafe or pouring soon after brewing.
