Nespresso's smallest, cheapest Vertuo: one button for five cup sizes plus an iced mode, but you're locked into Vertuo pods.
The Vertuo Pop+ is Nespresso's compact entry-level Vertuo machine, sold in the US as a Breville-made machine. One button brews five cup sizes from a single espresso to a 12 oz XL, and a Coffee Creations mode makes a concentrated pour for iced drinks. It heats up in 30 seconds and adds Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for cup customization. It suits people who want quick, consistent pod coffee in a small footprint. Reviewers note it only takes Nespresso's pricier Vertuo capsules, is a bit drippy and won't fit tall mugs.

How it scored
Gear score out of 10, weighted across five factors.
It brews consistent Vertuo coffee in five sizes, but Tom's Guide found the performance underwhelming and wished the coffee were hotter.
It is a compact, mostly plastic machine made in Hungary. Tom's Guide calls it quiet but quite drippy, and no warranty term is published on the product page.
One button, a 30-second heat-up and capsule-specific brewing make it as easy as coffee gets, though tall mugs won't fit.
At $129.99 list (Tom's Guide says it's almost always discounted) the machine is cheap, but Vertuo-only capsules cost more than generic pods and lock you into Nespresso.
NBC Select and casual reviewers like it as a simple, affordable machine, while forum users split between convenience fans and critics of Vertuo pod prices and lock-in.

What people are saying
Verbatim from Reddit, forums and long-term owner write-ups — linked so you can read the full thread.
“It's cute, it's compact, and it's budget-friendly. While the performance didn't blow me away, for a machine that has one job, it does that job well.”
“I'm a Vertuo fan and it got me out of going to the coffeeshop almost every day in a way my Chemex doesn't (so it ended up being net savings despite the relatively higher pod cost).”
“I definitely do not recommend the Nespresso Vertuo machines since the pods are very expensive and hard to find.”

FAQ
No. It brews only Nespresso Vertuo capsules, which aren't interchangeable with OriginalLine capsules. Tom's Guide notes the Vertuo system costs more per pod and doesn't let you buy from other roasters.
Use Coffee Creations mode by double-clicking the brew button. Nespresso says this gives a more concentrated pour that doesn't taste diluted when brewed over ice, which also suits milk recipes.
Five: Espresso, Double Espresso, Gran Lungo (5 oz), Coffee (8 oz) and XL (12 oz). Unlike the Vertuo Next and Creatista, it has no 18 oz carafe size.
Possibly not. The cup support has two positions, but Tom's Guide found some mugs and glasses won't fit because of the machine's short stature.
